In 2023 I led the creation of the motion design system for Microsoft build 2023. We were handed some 3D assets and creative direction that was created by Roger LA. We were given a handful of .mp4s and photoshop files of the key art. I took those assets and created a fast and dynamic intro and then masked/animated each unique key art to bring it to life, there were 7 key art assets in total. I then took these elements to bookend typographic layouts that supported different communication styles, which we had 3 different layouts, light and dark and 2 dimensions for each. So, in total I created a motion system that supported 54 creative assets for Microsoft Build 2023. Here are the outputs. Marketing assets on the left, animated key art on the right.
